PiTech President meets US President!!

Mr. Easa and President Bush conferred for over five hours last month.  Mr. Easa said "the meeting touched on a number of different topics related to PiTech and the interests of the United States".  Mr. Easa would not comment on a possible run for the White House.

PiTech Reports Quarterly Earnings

PiTech Corporation today reported quarterly net income of $478 thousand, or $.74 per diluted share, compared with $591 thousand, or $ .86 per diluted share, for the same quarter last year. Returns on average common equity and assets for the three months were 14.6% and 1.3%, respectively. For the nine months, net income was $1.6 million, or $2.45 per diluted share, compared with $1.8 million, or $2.85 per diluted share in the same period last year.

 

Northeast Ohio Region Leadership Changes

Corrinne DeMatteo has been named president and chief executive officer of PiTech, Northeast Ohio, effective January 1st nextyear. She succeeds Fred Daniels, who has announced his retirement effective in June last year. J. B. Ellis, area president of the Youngstown market, will take on the additional responsibility for the Northeast Ohio region.

 

Single Corporation Application Filed

PiTech filed an application to operate as single national corporation, instead as six separate national corporations as we currently do. The new legal structure will provide the most effective environment for PiTech to meet customer and business needs in the future. Public notice required for the application process will be published beginning tomorrow in newspapers in Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Louisville and Pittsburgh. Dan Easa Presented with Award
Dan Easa was presented with an award for his service to the Strongsville Chapter of AARP.

 

 

PiTech to Expand in St. Louis

PiTech Corporation today announced that it will further expand in St. Louis by acquiring PC Solutions, the parent company of Pioneer Computer Services Company. Pioneer operates eight service centers in Greater St. Louis and has $5 million in assets. This is part of our plan to open at least 20 new St. Louis locations by 2008.

Directory Assistance is at Your Fingertips

For directory assistance, employees are urged to use convenient online resources, instead of calling an operator. There are far too many employees among the 50,000 callers that PiTech telephone operators serve in a month. To encourage use of online directory resources, the internal "dial 0 for operator" option will cease to exist, effective immediately. External customers will still be able to call switchboard numbers where available.
